Derrel has joined the blogosphere!

I just wanted to tell anyone who is interested about Derrel's new blog. You can access it here on our blog in our circle of influence. He may not have a lot of time, but he'll sure tell you some of his great experiences in medical school. I also just have to put in a little plug for Derrel for Father's Day. I tell you, Derrel is AMAZING. He definitely keeps his family and calling at highest priority. I am so proud of him for finishing his first year of med school. I love him so much and am so blessed to spend my life with him. He's a special guy.

I guess I should do a post about Kate since she is so amiable, adorable, lovable and beautiful. She has never been one to throw a fit or get upset very easily. She is pretty much a perfect child in every way possible so let us share a few pictures with you of her.

Happy Birthday Lydia

Well, Lydia had her birthday party last Tuesday. We decided to have a luau/swimming party. It was great. We invited all of her girls friends and had hula skirts and leis and the whole shebang. She had so much fun. I have to admit, Derrel did ALL of the activities with the girls while I manned the kitchen and food. What an AWESOME dad, huh?

It's a miracle!

So, I've finally jumped on the bandwagon (after much harrassment from my sister-in-law) and started a blog of my own. If you know me well enough, I won't start ANYTHING unless it turns out perfect so for me to start this is nothing short of a miracle. Everyone else has so many prodigious things to say; my experiences are mundane and ordinary but I'll give it a shot.

Well, Lydia's birthday was yesterday. I can't believe that I have a 4 year old. What a feat! She gracefully flew through the terrible two's AND three's and has safely landed somewhere in the vacinity of being a beautiful and brilliant four year old. She definitely keeps us on our toes.
