Lydia-isms
*Daddy, I love you more than Spring.
*(thinking her tummy aches were from lactose intolerance) Mom, I have an idea! I don't think it's a milk problem, I think it's a junk food problem.
*(after eating dinner)
Dad: Lydia, tell Mom thank you for the yummy food she made for us.
Lydia: Well, that's why she's here.
* I have something to tell you that's excitement!
Kate-isms
*As Kate sat and ate with her uncle, he tooted and blaming her said, "Kate, I can't believe you just tooted!" Kate says, "Ha ha, I didn't even feel it." (she toots a LOT)
*(Kate and Derrel answer the door for Papa Johns delivery) Hi Papa John! Daddy, is his name Papa John?
*Isn't Grant cute? He's a tobbler!
*Kate: Mommy, did you know that Jesus is real? (pause. . . . .) And He comes to us when we don't do right things. He says, "stop doing the not right thing!"
*(at preschool, trying to open a pistachio). . . I can't open this because my muscles are SOOO big!
*If we eat a marble, it will hurt our very special hearts.
*(driving by a lake) Hey Lydia, there are white great sharks in that lake. I don't like sharks. They will eat me.
*(having a make believe conversation on a toy phone) Hi, this is Kate, do you want to come over for a "Barbie" Q?
*(after Lydia did something that really frustrated her). . . Lydia, your hurting my LIFE!
*(naming all the things she likes). . . I like sugar and hamburgers and cheese and french fries. . . . and sugar. . .
*(playing with Grant) He's making me laugh and I WANT MORE!
*(Whenever we pick Lydia up from school, we clean our hands with hand sanitizer) Kate says: Mom, can I have some hanitizer?
Grant-isms
*Derrel likes to play with the kids by saying "Feeeee Fi Fo Fummmmmm" really loudly and slowly crawling toward them. One day, Grant decided to imitate him and said, "Feeeeeeeeeee Fi Forrrrrrrrrr FUMP." It was pretty funny=)
*Grant's new word: Never! (with an exclamation point). Mom: Grant eat your dinner, please. Grant: No! NEVER! Mom: Grant, say your sorry. Grant: No! NEVER!! Mom: Grant, would you like to go on a timeout? Grant: NO! Never!! Mom: Grant, do you want a treat? Grant: No!! NEVER!!!. . . . . . (thinks about it for 10 seconds). . . oh, I'm kidding;)
Austin-isms
Austin's new words: February 9, 2012 Ma Ma Da Da Kak-ou (cracker) Baa (ball) Uh Oh!! Whas-sah? (what's that?) He sings to himself (so cute)
May 8, 2012 GO! Booyah (for Lydia) Don't! (swinging his arm) Gives fives
Love the slide show. It was fun to see that cute girl grow up right before my eyes. I'm glad I got to be part of her growing years. She probably doesn't even remember me (sigh). Missing you guys and your cute kids . . .
I love your cute family! By the way, I went to invite you to our blog and realized I don't have your email address. So shoot me an email at kelli.manwaring@gmail.com!
Oh and Kate's comment in the primary program really touched me. You have great kids!

Seriously how did your kids get so big? I remember how little they were when we lived in Morgantown. Oh my goodness! So fun and cute!
Very cute! I love how even as a tiny, tiny baby you can see her personality come through.
