Food: friend or foe

Food is my nemesis right now. I feel sick thinking about it. And then I crave something VERY specific, like a roll. But not just any roll. A round one that's fluffy and warm. . . . . . . Rhodes. Yes, that's it. Oh, I don't have any in the freezer, bummer. So I muster the energy to make them homemade--even the Lion House recipe and the second they come out of the oven, I want to double over. I wanted this? I asked for this? Of course I did. And then when I do eat something perfect that I have been craving for three days, such as country fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and peppered gravy, I want to double over AFTER I eat it. Um, that's just not right. I love being pregnant.

Ugh! The joys of being pregnant. Your post made me feel queasy. :) Congratulations -- it will be worth it. Hopefully you won't be sickened by food too long. I always loved chicken salad sandwiches and Hersheys bars. :)

haha! Kirsty is having the same problem. She said nothing sounds good to her. Thank goodness kids are so cute when they are little. It makes it worth it!

Kim, you said it so perfectly!! I feel like food is mostly my foe right now, but maybe someday, someday we can be friends again.

I can totally relate. With Lawson, my craving was pancakes and syrup. I could eat the biggest, stickiest stack you could put in front of me! I regretted it every time. I still love pancakes, though-anytime...anywhere. Hang in there!! We love you!
