Sisters

Kate has been very cranky lately. She has had a few very intense "episodes" with a capital E. Especially at church. I should have known it was coming for a while because she has been sweet, perfect little Kate up until now. Well, Lydia is VERY patient with her and is always trying to help her out of her episodes. Today, she was so sweet to write Kate a note all by herself:
Interpretation:
To Kate
Please be nice because I love you, Kate.
Love, Lydia
She proceeded to hand her this note with her favorite toy to cheer Kate up--it didn't work. It's the thought that counts.

Ha! You shoulda seen our last sunday. We had to take Lanette out for a time out twice!! She kept runnin' all over the place. SOO embarrasing.

That is pretty good writing for a small fry. She is definately ready for Kindergarten!! And what a good big sis, too.

I love it when kids start writing. We've kept several years worth of Christmas lists now because they are just too cute to get rid of. Melanie still spells names kinda funny too...Gotta love it! She's doing very well with her phonetics. :) Take care!

That is too cute. My boys miss your girls. I wished that we could have made it out your way a bit ago, money was really tight. We miss you guys and hope all is well with your cute little family and with your pregnancy.
