Grant is HOME!

Sorry, I meant to post this a few days ago, but life is slowly getting back to it's normal self.  We are just so excited that Grant is home with us.  Derrel drove him home at about 9:15 on Tuesday morning and the home health person came at 10 am to show us (well, I guess just me) how to give Grant his antibiotics.  He'll be on them at home for at least 2 weeks.  I think he is thrilled to be home and out of the hospital.  It's like bringing home a new baby all over again!!!!  We are so grateful for our little boy and that he is on the mend.  Yea!  Merry Christmas to all and Happy Holidays.  Enjoy.

Your comment about him being in the hospital JUST registered with me! I have been catching up and am SO SORRY you have all been going through this! I can't even fathom, and you sound so calm and collected, you super-mom, you! I'm so glad he is on the mend. So in the end, what did they say--meningitis or not? And what kind of doctor is your hubby, btw?

Hello! I am so glad I saw your post on Mandy's blog. It's been so long! How are you guys doing?

I'm glad your little boy is home with you guys now. My son had to stay in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) when he was first born, so I understand the strains and worries of having someone you love in the ICU. I'm so glad to hear that he's on the mend, though...way to fight that pneumonia!

Kim,
I just checked up on your blog for the first time in awhile... I am SO sorry you have been going through this! There is nothing worse I am convinced than having a child in the hospital! So glad to see he is home and that you guys had a good Christmas. Our prayers are with you and I hope he hangs in there healing up:)
AND, your girls are so cute:)
Love, Heather

Kim! I'm so sad you had to be in the hospital for so long. I didn't check blogs during Christmas. I hope things are going ok. I love the shoes and I smiled at the possibility of you still having ones you ran in during those happy 232 days. Love you!
